Well how can you do this and not pay exorbitant fees for alleged Search Engine Optimisation?.
First of all list your web page with Google http://www.google.com/addurl/ , Yahoo http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit . Also list your web site on as many free web site submission web pages that you can find.

Then if you don't have a blog on your web site get one and add content to it on a regular basis. Web crawlers from search engines such as Yahoo and Google love blog content and will increase your web pages hist and also search engine rankings.

Write as many on-line article and content/comments on blogs related to what you do with links back to your web site if possible.

Advertise your web site address in the real world on every invoice, business card and anything else that has your company name on it such as vehicle sign-age etc.

Try and get reciprocal links with other related but not competing web sites. A reciprocal link is where you link to their web site and they also link to your web site.

Add your web site to you Facebook and MySpace profiles. Also Tweet your web site out to your followers on Twitter after you have set it up.
