This is also generally based on the number of users, data storage and the number features that you require in the software. Wireless mobile chargers coming to Australia 03/06/2010
Your cordless toothbrush will no longer be the only wireless charging device in the house. The company behind the innovative range of Powermat cordless inductive charging devices has flagged plans to launch the products in Australia. Powermat chargers (pictured) allow users to charge battery-powered devices such as iPhones and other mobile phones, Nintendo DS units, Sony PlayStation Portables, netbooks and laptops and more, by simply attaching a ‘receiver’ device to the device and then putting it on top of the charging mat. The devices launched last year in the US and are now coming to Australia, according to an invitation – “Powermat is launching in Australia” — sent to journalists last week. The launch event will be on 25 March. No pricing details were immediately available, but Powermat’s statement noted journalists at the launch would have the chance to win a Powermat valued at $199. In the US the devices launched for the price of $99.99, plus another $40 for each receiving attachment that connects to your mobile devices. Article Source: http://apcmag.com/wireless-mobile-chargers-coming-to-australia.htm I have the same problem. I found a workaround - Close IE Open Adobe Reader as an application from the start menu Under the Edit menu, select Preferences Under the internet category, uncheck the first option "Display PDF in browser". This will cause the pdf file to download and new window to open whenever you click on a PDF file (you may have to click the OK to download to allow the PDF file to download), but you should be able to save. I found that some websites would not allow the file to download even though I clicked the OK to download button. For those websites, I had to change the setting back to open in browser. Also for those websites, the save button works. Rather inconvenient if you go between the two websites. Until recently, job searching was fairly simple. You scanned the classified pages of your local newspaper. You chatted with family, friends, acquaintances, and you asked for recommendations. When you found a lead, you mailed in a resume and cover letter, crossed your fingers, and waited for the phone to ring. To put it mildly, things have changed. Most job opportunities aren’t listed in the classified pages anymore. Your cookie-cutter resume and cover letters no longer cut it. And on top of all that, today’s job market is tough, the worst since the Great Depression. The old places people used to look for jobs, like newspaper ads, are dying. Even the online employment sites you might know about, like Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com or HotJobs, are a dead end for most people. Here’s why: The job often doesn’t exist. The job listings at these big-name employment sites are stale. They’re often copied directly from company Web sites or internal applicant tracking systems, which are chronically out-of-date. Worse, many employers post phantom jobs at these sites, simply to harvest resumes and fill their applicant database. Employers perpetuate this jobs treadmill because it’s cheaper than hosting job fairs or hiring recruiters. And the Web sites are happy to play along, because Read more at: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/BusinessOpportunitiesWeblog/~3/2Qf7VK8mze8/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email Google Feed Burner 30/04/2010
What are feeds? I see "RSS", "XML", and "Atom" out there, but I don't know how I might use these links when I find them. Feeds are a way for websites large and small to distribute their content well beyond just visitors using browsers. Feeds permit subscription to regular updates, delivered automatically via a web portal, news reader, or in some cases good old email. Feeds also make it possible for site content to be packaged into "widgets," "gadgets," mobile devices, and other bite-sized technologies that make it possible to display blogs, podcasts, and major news/sports/weather/whatever headlines just about anywhere. What Does This Mean? You may recognize the universal feed icon or these "chicklets" from your favorite websits, blogs, and podcasts. These icons represent content in any format - text, audio or video - to which you can subscribe and read/watch/listen using a feed reader. What's that? Why is This a Good Thing? Technology evolution in online publishing has made it really easy to not only publish regular updates to web-based content, but also keep track of a large number of your favorite websites or blogs, without having to remember to check each site manually or clutter your email inbox. You can now streamline your online experience by subscribing to specific content feeds and aggregating this information in one place to be read when you're ready.
